The Workshop series has 4 parts each 6-7 hours per day:

  • understand health through the lens of Ayurveda, 

  • learn about your own functioning,

  • be able to identify signs of imbalances and

  • get to know different home practices to regain balance.

Day 1 - Introduction to Ayurveda

elements, doshas, dhatus, malas, 

ama, agni - the source of health

food combining, 6 tastes, food energy

our body and time: daily routine, seasons and sun energy

Day 2 - Kapha Dosha   

Day 3 - Pitta Dosha      

Day 4 - Vata Dosha           

energy, characteristics, reflection in the body, imbalances and re-balancing the doshas

An average daily program is as follows:

 

With the program, you will also receive an Ayurveda manual and lots of dosha specific recipes for inspiration.

  • 8-8.30 - Ayurvedic Morning Rituals

  • 8.30-10.00 Yoga Asana & Pranayama for the season

  • 10.15 Short break & Light Breakfast

  • 11-12.00 Ayurveda Talks I.

  • 12-13.30 Cooking lunch -  Intro to Ayurvedic cooking

  • 14.00-15.00 Ayurveda Talks II.

Yoga

During our asana practice, our focus is not on achieving certain asanas, rather looking behind the poses and see how we experience them on a physical, energetic, and mental level.

We will learn about the presence of the 5 elements and the 3 doshas in our body and how it is linked to our strengths and weaknesses, physical and mental tendencies to become more conscious of our functioning and with that get an insight into how we can lead our everyday life more consciously off the mat.

Ayurveda

Our Ayurveda sessions focus on providing you with the general understanding of the concept of 

Ayurveda and its application to your everyday life so it can become an integrated part of your living.

These courses and retreats are to bring awareness about what health means to you and how to stay healthy.

Please note that it not designed to heal or treat an existing health condition even though the practices and knowledge we learn can improve certain conditions. If you wish to get an Ayurvedic treatment, you will need to consult an ayurvedic doctor.
