My Story
My first yoga experience was in India in 2002 during my one year scholarship in Agra. At that time yoga was introduced to me as breathing and meditation. I found it to be too serious in those days of my life, I wasn't really prepared so it took me 3 more years to get back to yoga again.
At the age of 25, when yoga came into my attention again, I decided to join a physical yoga class, it was mainly for physical fitness. My idea about yoga changed two years later when I turned to it for therapeutic reasons - I wanted to get rid of my recurring lower back pain. This was the time when I started to take regular classes at a studio that specialized in yoga therapy for the spine. My back problems disappeared in 6 months and I started practicing yoga every day.
Being a high school teacher quite soon, after completing several workshops and courses, I felt I would like to teach yoga as well. The motive was to bring people closer to their bodies.
In 2012, I signed up for my first teacher training in Hatha Yoga with the intention to deepen my knowledge, but life had a different plan for me, and instead of joining the training I had to leave my life in Hungary behind and move to Goa, India. This is where I ended up completing my first YA Certified 500hrs TTC in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and where I got my first group teaching experience - I became assistant teacher and then started teaching full time, eventually finding my own teaching style.
These two years of constant learning and teaching as well as deep diving into Ayurveda (see details about my Ayurveda journey on the Ayurveda tab) led me to believe that in order to experience the real benefits of yoga, it's important to look at everybody as an individual and help them practice in line with their own constitution, taking into account that we all have different bodies, health issues and we go through various life phases and cycles.
Since then I have completed several trainings and courses in different applied yoga styles and my studies are still going on.
Becoming the mom of a beautiful girl deepened my awareness even more about my own body and how much it can change due to certain circumstances.
The more I teach, the more I return to what was my original reason for getting into yoga - healing & maintaining health in the body, mind and soul, in this order.
In the second half of 2015 I was fortunate enough to co-found Parinama Yoga Studio in Goa, India, through which I learned how to build up a business and gained experience in teaching drop-in classes, running courses, workshops, retreats & other events. In 2017 I created my own brand, CreateBalanceWithMe, under which now I am teaching both in Hungary and India, Goa since Parinama Yoga closed it's gates permanently in 2019.
