Terms & Conditions
Please carefully read the terms and conditions detailed below prior to booking the Course or Retreat. By completing the registration for the Course or Retreat, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.
1) RESERVATION
(a) On making a booking with us, each person accepts the terms of these booking conditions.
(b) Upon contacting us to express your interest, we will contact you to accept your booking and request a deposit payment with payment instructions. Payment is by bank transfer only and is due within 7 days of your booking (unless you agree on different terms with the Organizer). Your place is not confirmed until the deposit payment has been received. The final reminder will be sent to request payment for the remaining balance which will be due 30 days before the retreat start date. If the balance price of your retreat is not paid within 20 days of the start date, we reserve the right to cancel your retreat and retain your deposit.
(c) If making your booking within 6 weeks from the retreat start date, the full balance will be due upon acceptance. An email request for the full amount will be issued and is to be paid within 7 days. In this case your place will not be confirmed until full payment has been received.
(d) All payments are non-refundable. This includes deposit, remaining and full payments.
(e) A refund will only be issued if the retreat is fully booked and someone else can fill your space. A refund in this case dues not include refund of your deposit. Any monies owed in this case will be paid to you one month after the retreat end date has passed.
(f) We reserve the right to increase the price of the retreat before you submit your booking. Any change in price will be advertised to you before you book the retreat.
(g) We reserve the right to reduce the price of the retreat or run special offers at any time. Once you have made your booking and paid your deposit these price changes will not apply to you.
(h) Optional trips and treatments booked locally are not our responsibility and are at your own risk and cost.
2) CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT OR DELAY
It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your retreat, but arrangements are made many months in advance and changes may have to be made. We reserve the right to, within reason, change any information advertised at any time, to include, but not be limited to, dates, times, timetable, location, accommodation, yoga teachers and prices. We will advise you of any changes at the earliest possible date.
(a) Effect of Changes, Postponement, or Delay. In the event of any change, postponement, or delay, you acknowledge that you will have no right of refund of the Course or Retreat price (whether in whole or in part) and no right to claim compensation for any injury, loss, damage or other expenses incurred by virtue of the change, postponement or delay.
3) CANCELLATION
a. Cancellation by the Organiser: We reserve the right to cancel the Course or Retreat prior to its commencement in the event insufficient guests are confirmed or in the case of any emergencies or unforeseen circumstances arising. In such an event, you will be entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, but in no event will we be responsible for any other amount, including preparation costs, airfares, travel documents, or any other losses or claimed damages.
b. Cancellation by you: If you cancel the Course or Retreat for any reason, you will not be entitled to any refunds of the amounts paid. Once the Course or Retreat has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your Course or Retreat will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you. There will be no refunds for any classes, meals, or any other inclusions or portions of the Course or Retreat missed by the student, unless otherwise agreed with the Organiser prior to booking.
4) HEALTH AND FITNESS
Any injuries, ailments, medical conditions, illnesses or recent surgeries should be discussed with the Organiser prior to booking. Your health and wellbeing is our priority and we may ask you to consult a doctor prior to booking or refuse to accept you on the Course or Retreat if we think it would be detrimental to your health. Any allergies and special dietary requirements should be communicated prior to the start of the Course or Retreat.
5) FLIGHTS AND TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE COURSE OR RETREAT
Flights and transportation to the Course or Retreat site are not included in the price of the Course or Retreat, unless otherwise stated in the Course or Retreat description. It is your responsibility to arrive at the Course or Retreat site prior to the commencement thereof. If transport to the Course or Retreat site is included in your package price, you are required to provide us with the details of your flight (flight number, airlines, date and time of arrival).
6) ACCOMMODATION
If accommodation is included in your Course or Retreat package, check in is available from 2 pm on the day the Course or Retreat starts. Check out time is 10 am on the day the Course or Retreat finishes. Extra nights can be booked at an extra cost, subject to availability.
7) ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS
Any activity or excursion included in the package price may be changed or cancelled without notice due to unforseen circumstances arising. In such case the Organiser will do its best to provide an alternative activity or excursion, of similar value and nature. If the activity or excursion is cancelled, a refund of the activity or excursion price will be provided. If the activity or excursion is changed or replaced, you will not be entitled to any refunds or partial refunds. There will be no refunds for any activities or excursions you did not attend, unless otherwise agreed with the Organiser prior to booking.
8) YOGA PROGRAMME
The Yoga Programme may be subject to change. No refunds will be available for any missed classes, unless otherwise agreed with the Organiser prior to booking.
10) PASSPORT, VISA AND RELATED ITEMS
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid passport and visas (if applicable) and all other required travel documentation. We are not responsible if you are denied entry or exit to/from the country due to a lack of the correct documents.
11) TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance for the duration of the Course or Retreat. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you are adequately insured for the full duration of the Course or Retreat with respect to possible illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment, or any other potential loss. The Organiser accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illness. You will be solely responsible for any loss related to your failure to procure travel insurance.
12) CONDUCT
You as our guest must be respectful and must not engage in offensive, illegal or immoral acts, should this be a situation or should a guest become a nuisance to staff or other students, we reserve the right to ask a guest to leave our premises or suspend their activities if it is appropriate to do so without any compensation.
13) PHOTOGRAPHY
We reserve the right to take photographs during the Course or Retreat. If you do not wish to be in any of the photographs, please advise us on that prior to the start of the Course or Retreat. By agreeing to be on our photographs, you agree for them to be displayed on our website, social media sites and marketing materials.
14) RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
By reserving your place on the Course or Retreat you agree, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless and indemnify the Organiser from any and all claims, damages, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, lost profits, lost earnings, consequential, exemplary, direct, indirect or punitive damages or otherwise which may arise out of or occur during your travel and/or stay in connection with the trip, the Course or Retreat, or any activities conducted in conjunction therewith, unless caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the Organiser; and regardless of the situation or circumstances giving rise to the claim, you hereby permanently waive any claims you have or may at any time have, against the Organiser. You have been advised to obtain travel insurance to cover against loss resulting from trip cancellation or interruption, weather, natural disaster, strike, illness, injury, job reasons, accident, sickness, evacuation, pre-existing medical conditions, baggage delay, loss, theft, and other losses associated with travel. You acknowledge that whether or not you elect to purchase or not purchase travel insurance, you will not look to the Organiser for reimbursement for any loss suffered or occurring during your travel and/or stay.
15) PRIVACY POLICY
In any contact you make with us, we will use your details to inform you of important updates and special offers. You can unsubscribe to this service at any time by selecting the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email. We will not pass on your information to any third party or outside organisation, without your permission. We respect your privacy.
16) COMPLAINTS
If you have a problem during your retreat, please inform a member of our team immediately, who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you must advise us in writing on your return. Please note that we cannot guarantee the proportion of male/female in any group, nor be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest on your retreat.
